User Manual (C016-V2.0) for the Hiseeu 4G LTE Cellular Security Camera. Suitable for the Hiseeu TDK04U, TDK04U-Q, TDK04UG, HD603, TD704U and TD704U-Q models.

For a better product experience, please read the user manual before using the product.

4G SIM card — no Wi-Fi

This is a 4G SIM Card camera, not a Wi-Fi camera. The included SIM card allows the camera to operate seamlessly in areas without Wi-Fi. The SIM card is pre-inserted into the card slot before leaving the factory. The 4G Cellular Security Camera cannot connect to your home Wi-Fi network.

Important Features about 4G LTE Cellular Security Camera

  • The camera is a 4G wireless cellular security camera. The SIM card supports the camera running in any place that you want.
  • The 4G LTE Cellular Security Camera can't work with your home Wi-Fi network, so please don't connect the camera to your home Wi-Fi network.
  • In order to run the cellular security camera normally, please make sure the 4G LTE Cellular Security Camera has a nano SIM card inserted (included) and a cellular data plan in available state.

To ensure your cellular security camera works properly, please make sure the SIM card you insert into the camera has sufficient 4G traffic data.

  • If you use the SIM card we provide, you can check the traffic data in the EseeCloud App.
  • If you use your own SIM card, please make sure your 4G service provider is compatible with the camera. (You can find the appropriate service provider on the product detail page.)

If you need to recharge the traffic data (the SIM cards we provide), please refer to the steps below:

  1. Open the EseeCloud app.
  2. Click the Recharge icon.
  3. Select the cellular data plan you want to order.

If you need to recharge the traffic data (SIM card by yourself), please contact your SIM card provider for recharge. Note: You can only recharge in the app with a SIM card provided by us.

Charge before first use

To ensure safe transportation, we do not allow camera batteries to be overcharged before they leave the factory. Therefore, please charge your new camera for at least 6 hours after receiving it. This will ensure the best possible experience.

If there is any question when recharging the SIM card, please contact our 4G customer service team. Quick contact: [email protected]

Indicator Light Introduction

  1. The red light is always on — the 4G signal is too weak. Please check whether the antenna is up. Or adjust the position and orientation of the device.

Move to an open area and search for areas with strong signals. Replace the SIM card and use a signal provider with a wider coverage area in the local. (USA: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile)

  1. The red light flash slowly — the camera battery is low. Please connect the camera to a power source and charge it for more than 6 hours.
  2. The red and blue lights flash alternately slowly — if the traffic is insufficient or the payment is in arrears, please replace the SIM card or recharge.

Check whether the remaining data is sufficient through the SIM card provider. If you are using our included SIM card, please contact our after-sales customer service ([email protected]).

  1. The red and blue lights flash alternately fast — the device does not detect the SIM card. Please confirm that the SIM card has been inserted.

Check if the SIM card is fully inserted into the card slot using the correct method. Check if the SIM card chip is dirty or damaged. Attempt to replace the SIM card.

  1. Purple and other light flashing — automatic network access failed. Please set the APN.

If you are using your own SIM card, please ask your SIM card provider how to set up an APN. If you are using our included SIM card, please contact our after-sales customer service ([email protected]).

Before contacting our after-sales customer service, please try one time RESTORE THE FACTORY SETTINGS before attempting to connect. Many issues can be resolved by restoring the factory settings.

Adding the camera in the EseeCloud app — add device, scan to add, and scan the QR code on the camera body

Make sure of 2 things before adding your camera to your EseeCloud app

  1. Your device has access to a power source and make sure it's charged.
  2. Your device is inserted into one of our SIM cards or your own Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T SIM card with a 4G network.

If you are sure that all the above conditions are met, but still cannot add in, please try once: Press the "Reset button" for 8 seconds to restore the factory settings. Try the "Camera Connection" once again.

Mounting the Camera

For outdoor use, the camera MUST be installed upside down for better waterproof performance and better PIR motion sensor's efficiency.

Correct upside-down mounting orientation (checkmark) versus incorrect orientations (cross)

Install the camera 2–3 meters (7–10 ft) above the ground. This height maximizes the detection range of the PIR motion sensor.

If a moving object approaches the PIR sensor vertically, the camera may fail to detect motion.

Camera mounting height of 2-3 meters and PIR detection distance of 2-10 meters
  • Mounting Height: 2–3 Meters
  • PIR Detection Distance: 2–10 Meters
